Rose Quartz: The Gem of Difference March, representing Gratitude For Gratitude I have chosen Rose Quartz, as most gratitude comes from the heart and Rose Quartz is one of the best heart crystals. A gratitude rock was spoken about in “The Secret”, this can be any rock at all; it doesn’t have to be any particular stone. Its purpose is so that you have something physical to hold to remind you to be grateful. I feel that by choosing a Crystal such as Rose Quartz you add a special something to your gratitude rock; you have the added benefit of the properties of the crystal that will help you to be more grateful. Rose Quartz has a very loving and soft energy which is why I feel it is the perfect choice. You can have a small rose quartz to carry with you at all times, to remind you of all the things you are grateful for, this can be especially useful when you are a bit stressed or upset. Or you can have a larger piece placed in your environment to act as a reminder of what we have to be grateful for. Children especially love a small rose quartz, it can be a great idea to have your children hold a gratitude rock every day and say what they are grateful for. A friend of ours joins his two daughters in their little ritual every night before dinner; they take out their gratitude rocks, actually a tumble stone, and in turn name at least one thing they are grateful for from their day’s activity.
